"A Bowl of Evil"

That was The Lovely One's one-sentence reaction after seeing an ad for a KFC Hot Bowl.

Comments:
She and I must be very different. Chicken, mashed potatoes, and corn? Sounds good to me. Sausage, rice, and corn? **I would buy that in a heartbeat**.

Key problem: without the visual aid of the ad, you don't realize that there's also a heapin' helpin' of cheese and gravy involved. The result looks like some sort of poutine-themed horror, or perhaps an ultra-unhealthy parody of a rice bowl.

It's not that I'm opposed to fast food: KFC's $2 (now >$2) Tuesday deals are an old friend. But this thing just looked unappetizing.

But yeah, Sausage, rice and corn do sound good. Too bad I'm trying to lose weight right now.

Yes, I saw the ad tonight during the Spurs-Mavs game. (or possibly I was channel surfing.)

The cheese and gravy are a plus. (Maybe not so much for the rice version.)

Good thing there isn't a KFC in my two-block radius. Stupid news article kicked my craving into high gear. =S

Heh. I will try to reduce the amount of food-blogging I do in the future. Wired Cola: we're all about our readers' health. All 20 of you.
